Traveling alone on a cycling trip through Ireland she came to the decision to attend massage school. After much soul searching and researching she chose to attend the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage in Kealakekua, Hawaii in 2003.With an intensive 1,280 hour program the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage offers a comprehensive curriculum consisting of University level Anatomy, Kinisiology and Pathology, as well as treatment massage and a variety of basic and advanced modalities. The Hawaiian Islands School of Massage is one of the top ranked private massage schools in the nation, the canadian based curriculum surpasses state and even national certification standards.
Upon graduation from massage school in 2004 Zoe went back to yachting for a brief time as massage therapist on board the motor yacht Sycara III. After returning to the Big Island Zoe worked for 2 years at the world famous Hualalai Spa at the Kona Four Seasons Resort, and for the exclusive "Kukio Spa" at Kukio, while maintaining a private practice outcall service.A commitment to advancing herself personally and professionally inspires Zoe to seek consistent continuing education and use bodywork as a way to connect with community.Prior to moving to Seattle Zoe volunteered with the massage teams at some of the many Triathalon events on the Big Island including the Honu Half Ironman, the Lavaman Triathalon, and of course the world famous Kona Ironman Triathalon. Zoe has also had many inspirational experiences working with the elderly, special needs adults, and adults and children battling Cancer.
Zoe's experiences have helped to shape who she is and she is happiest when feels she is growing personally and professionally. She is excited to be a member of the Seattle Massage Therapist community and happy to offer the residents and visitors of Seattle her services.
